Discover how your horse's brain learns to create tension and maladaptive posture, how those become habitual patterns, and how Equine Hanna Somatics® can reverse the process. Level 1 builds your foundation for recognizing and beginning to work somatically with the three most common postural presentations in domestic horses.
No prerequisite - registration for this 2-day* clinic is open to and appropriate for horse owners, riders and equine professionals.
This advancing clinic builds on core principles from Level I to explore equine and human postural presentations, our capacity for self-organization and somatic issues that affect performance, training, rehabilitation, saddle-fit and well-being in greater depth.
Participants deepen their understanding of how horses habituate into various postures and how to create conditions that promote normalization of resting muscle tone, prevent the recurrence of maladaptive tension, and enhance learning.
